in the endless fight of grace and pride…

28/01/2009

I figure I am overdue for a real post. I have been ignoring my duty to the internet I suppose, and wasting my time and brainpower on my Xbox and Playstation.

Its been a big gaming week for me. The Resident Evil:5 demo was released on Xbox, and well, that’s damn exciting for me. Its a game I have been waiting for for years. But that’s the way it goes with these game series, they take forever to get out. Just like Metal Gear Solid 4. Though that game was entirely worth the wait.

Anyways, as if anybody in the world would want to see my type out blogs about games, especially when I spent my whole week playing them alone. Whatever.

Today was an intense workday, one of the worst snowfalls I’ve ever had to work in. Here is a picture:

The wipers were moving, so they look all warped, which is actually kind of cool. It looks pretty bad, but it was worse than it looks. I’m lucky to be alive… okay, that last one was an exaggeration.

I’m overdue for a shower, but what else is new. I think I need to get my hair cut asap. I actually for once think that its time to get rid of this gross mess. It would be alright I guess, If I took the time to manage it and make it look alright. But there isn’t a point when its always tied up and in my hat. I have heard that I should go back to when it was really short, but I don’t think I want to go that far. I would really like to not look the same as I used to. I mean, I am aware that it looked good, but I think I want a more “adult” look, especially given the fact that I am starting to dress better and I don’t want to look like a 15 yr old in church clothes (if that makes sense).

My car got stuck tonight in my driveway and some lady from the barn (There is an apartment in the barn behind my house) came and tried to help. Though the frustrating thing was that her help was in the form of telling us what we should do and not actually helping, just being annoying. Then when we got the car unstuck (My stepfathers snow shovelling, which funnily wasn’t suggested by big mouth) we had to give an obligatory thank you because she came over. Only after all that did my entire family ask each other why that woman bothered and why she was such an idiot. We are quite the cynical bunch, aren’t we?

I had to stop myself from buying another nerdy t-shirt today. Its a cross section diagram of an iPhone dissected in a style like Leonardo DiVinci’s schematic drawings. I really think the shirt rules, but I don’t like the colour of the shirt its being printed on, so that’s how I backed out of spending money on something else that I don’t need.

Pretty cool right?

They screen print posters with the design on it for 10 bucks. I think I very well may order myself one of those at least.

I need a new pair of shoes, nicer ones, not cheesy old Nike’s, but not dress shoes. Just a nice pair of classy shoes, Perhaps Lacoste? I don’t know, but I’d like them to be white.

I think I am rambling on now, I really don’t have anything to say about whats going on in my head. It’s nothing of concern at the moment, I don’t even know what I am saying, blahhhh ramblerambleramble.

Just shut up already Ernie. Fuck.

ps – I would really like to see more people comment and say stuff to me, even if its anonymous. So if you’re into that, do it.

That I do not.

I read blogs that interest me, be it a tech blog, a video game blog, etc.

I don’t like reading up on other peoples lives. But people like reading up on mine.

So what is wrong with enjoying that people take an interest in MY life, and wanting them to communicate thoughts and views on the things that I post? Because they obviously interest them if they are coming to MY blog, and reading MY posts.
