The Klipsch LightSpeaker system is one of the cooler things I have seen unveiled at this years CES (Consumer Electronics Show). Basically what they consist of is a wireless speaker and a LED Light (emitting the equivalent of 65W of light) all packaged into one. The device screws into any ordinary light socket, effectively adding a speaker to any wall or lamp (within distance from the base, which I assume is enough for any regular sized home). They wont be cheap when they go on sale at the end of the month, coming in at $599 (US) for two lightspeakers, a remote, and the base (plus cables), with each additional light at $249 individually.
The cost is worth the sheer magnitude of blasting Slipknot out of every light fixture in your home.
NOTE: I am probably going to be posting a lot about my favourite products from this years CES, be sure to check back lots this week especially.
