Well this is a little ironic

Today I bought a book. No, this is not what is ironic. The book I went and bought is what is a little weird.

I never graduated from Highschool. In the second semester of Grade 12, I had decided that I had enough with it, and after 3.5 years and 27 credits, I packed up and left. One thing that I rarely mention was that for some reason or another, the straw that broke the camels back and drove me to leave was not wanting to (for no real reason) read the Gr. 12 book the teacher had chosen. This book was “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck.

Again, I have no idea why I didn’t want to read the book, I have literally nothing against it. I just decided that I didn’t want, or have to read it, and I left school. Today, this is the book I went to the mall and I bought. And while I am halfway through a total of 6 books right now (thats right, 6), I am taking it upon myself to read this book in its entirety first.

On paper, I have tons of extra time with my work schedule, yet I never feel like I actually have any. I think I need to spend less time on the internet reading things and more time reading real literature.

Tonight I bought tickets to Henry Rollins in Kitchener next month. For anyone who has never checked out his stuff, I highly suggest you download some stuff. Download it from HERE. I am pretty excited about it. Also, I have to note that the link comes curtousy of Dylan and his blog (obligatory friendblog plug).

Anyways, I am going to get in bed and either listen to some HR, or read a bit.

ps – I also went and tried on glasses, I am pretty sure I am getting the Ray Bans that I posted Here
